Modern woman Bonnie Fuller has taken a job as editor in chief and president of Hollywood Life, owned by Mail.com Media Corporation, founded by auto-racer Roger Penske’s son Jay. The company also bought Nikki Finke’s DeadlineHollywoodDaily.com last month.
Fuller says she will track the much larger spectrum of celebs, with a reach far beyond Hollywood. Hollywood Life will compete with a thicket of others, including digital versions of People and Us Weekly magazines, along with very robust Web sites like TMZ, PopEater, Wonderwall, PerezHilton, E!Online and OMG! For the time being, Hollywood Life is a smaller player in a very big game, with an audience in July of 980,000, according to comScore. (via NYTimes)
