J'adore: Brooklyn Bridge
Manhattan is having a birthday party. The Brooklyn Bridge is 125 years old this month and New York City is getting ready to celebrate.
The five-day festivities will kick off May 22 with a performance by the Brooklyn Philharmonic at the Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park in Brooklyn, and a Grucci fireworks presentation.
My favorite piece of news? Brooklyn Bridge will be lit up in an array of colored lights from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. from May 22 through Memorial Day.
Flickr photographer James Neeley gives us a Brooklyn Bridge Sunset photo that’s as painterly as it is photographic.
