A- Taryn, I noticed a repost of your nude Love Magazine photo shoot on a major fashion blog and because we’re friends, I thought you may want to discuss the shoot and the impact it’s had, while it continues to attract more publicity.

Why do you think it has gained so much attention?

T- Besides the semi-controversy of it being completely nude there was some raw truth, strength, and vulnerability in that shoot. Posing au naturel was probably the most honest thing I’ve ever done. It was as much liberating as it was revealing of who I am and always will be. I hope people can see the value in that.

A- The images are called a “fan tribute”. Was that your intent?

T- We intended on doing an homage to Helmut Newton and to also recognize the forward thinking of Love magazine and Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
