Photographer Zeb Daemen employs light and shadow to highlight French label Heaven Tanudiredja’s Spring 2012 jewelry collection. The images are very different from those of the John Hardy collection, and yet we see kindred spirits. On the surface the Hardy images appear more commercial perhaps, but we are attracted to the integrated, strong sensuality in which femaleness dominates and masculine metal supports.

The Heaven Tanudiredja shadows on the womanly curves of the model’s upper torso correspond to the structured cuts of the metal neck chokers and chromatic wristbands. To be totally esoteric for a moment — the Heaven Tanudiredja images also employ hard and soft, masculine and feminine principles.
