Joan, Natalia, Daria, Lara, Raquel, Gisele | Mert & Marcus | Shape Issue Vogue US April 2011

Joan Smalls, Natalia Vodianova, Daria Werbowy, Lara Stone , Raquel Zimmerman and Gisele Bundchen are featured in “Bodies of Work”, Vogue magazine’s April 2011 Shape issue. Photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggot and styled by Tonne Goodman, no props are necessary for these beautiful women.

Joan Smalls reveals that her scoliosis — a curvature of the spine — was identified too late to be corrected with a back brace. Joan took up boxing in college and knows exactly how to throw a good punch. “My coach wanted me to compete, but I said ‘Do you see this right here?’” she says, pointing to her perfectly proportioned face. “I can’t mess this up!”
