Amber Rose | Kanye West | Sensually Complex Class Act

Kanye West and Amber Rose have been an item for the last year. Launching his new website, West posted an out-take photo of Rose, shot for Complex magazine, posing as an iconic Grace Jones.

Grace Jones by Jean-Paul Goude, 1978The Daily Mail focuses on the West|Rose affair as celebtracker, with a solid dose of information about Amber Rose’s sexuality. In her interview with Complex last year, Rose spoke of her bisexuality and stripped past.

She said: ‘Yeah, they label me a bisexual freak stripper that beds Kanye on a daily basis.

via Complex MagazineMoving on to Complex, we discover another She-Wolf woman (think Shakira) but also one that dresses up well. Entire interview:

“Amber Rose, the bisexual, dyke, freak,” whatever. I’m extremely open with my sexuality. I can be in love with a woman, I can be in love with a man.

‘Kanye knew my life, so when the blogs came out like, “Oh, Kanye do you know she was a stripper, that she used to date girls?” Kanye was like, “Tell me something I don’t know.” Everybody has a life and a past.’

Only because inquiring minds always want to know, Amber Rose tells Complex that she’s not into threesomes or orgies.

Not even with Madonna.

Complex Question: What was it like meeting Madonna at the Met Gala?

Amber Rose: Well, that night I was around superstar celebrities, and I have to say this: Madonna was the most down-to-earth person there. She was dancing having a good time. Yeah, she put her hand on my butt to take a picture, but who wouldn’t brag about that, it’s fucking Madonna! Madonna reinvents herself every two years, she was amazing, and I put the picture on Twitter to be like, “Hey look, I have a picture with Madonna.” And then everyone’s like, “Oh, they’re having threesomes,” and it’s like, c’mon it’s so not true. It’s a fucking picture, relax.

I will be totally not politically correct, and say that I had no idea that the guy above — holding the bottle of Hennessy in one hand and Amber Rose in the other — Kanye West — would launch a website that has more intellectual style potential than I’ve seen in a long time.

There’s not a lot of content, but if Kanye West stays the course, I’ll be a regular visitor. The editorial approach is simply gorgeous and relevant, too.  As an example, this is the actual photo of Amber Rose on the website, a photograph filled with RESPECT, and I love that message for women everywhere and black women in particular.

The next photo of Kanye West and Amber Rose in Paris confirms that either a new style direction or a many splendored thing. Either way, I’m liking the approach. Anne
